Thanks guys. Misanthropic, you flatter me. Sass, it took me 9 semesters, but I didn't go back to school until I was 23, having dropped out of the 10th grade.

jw distance
by John Doe inwell guys, i haven't been on here much this year.
part of the reason is because i had sporadic internet access, but part of it is because i've developed an urge to not be associated with jw'ism in any way.
ironically enough, reading many posts on this site leaves me with a sick feeling in my stomach, as if jw'ism still has anything to do with who i am.

No one's rated themselves lower than an 8 on intelligence. Interesting. Me, let's see. 3, 4, 3.

Do any of you do this?
As far as what I've been doing, I graduated in December with a BA in Math and a BA in English. I've been accepted to U of A school of law with a liberal scholarship, and I'll more than likely be attending that school in the Fall. I'm amazed how much a little education has changed and broadened my outlook on life.

I liked the first two seasons of Alias, before they turned Jennifer Garner into a sex object.

You're an excellent scholar proplog2. The way you look out for others with no concern of self is admirable. You're a great scholar! 3 cheers for proplog2!!!

When do you put a dog down?
by katiekitten inim at my dads house at the moment and they have this dog thats 14 years old, and apparently this brand of dog has an average life expectancy of 10, so shes had a good innings.. now im not a dog owner, so its pretty easy for me to say i think they should put the dog down.
my dads wife is very sentimental about the dog.
i would say she was very attached to it, but for all her sentimentality, she has never walked the dog (its always been my dad) and she is not the one who gets up in the night with a mop and bucket - that'd be dad too.

People are interestingly nonsensical creatures. At one moment they're chomping on the flesh of animals, and at the next they're wallowing in despair over the plight of a dog that needs to be taken around back and "helped." I don't have much sympathy for people who will put an animal through needless agony.

JW and Home Schooling WHY, WHY, WHY????????
by Wordly Andre ini just heard that my nephew will not be attending high school, instead will be doing home schooling, why do jws pressure their kids into home schooling?
i really do love my nephew he is a bright kid, i think he would do really great in high school, and hopefully attend college, but i was informed yesterday that he will not be going to high school because its not safe, and besides he made the decision not to go.
i am sorry but he should go, i know what they got planned for him, home school and full time service, this is the time of his life where he needs to concentrate on his education, he will end up just like his mother, who also never attended high school, seems that when your totally lost into the society, covering all aspects of your life, that leaves you socially inept, depressed, and have a distorted view of the world.

I homeschooled. It was my decision. Why is that so hard to believe?
